Brand Strategy and Identity

Background
The school district was looking for a positive, reinforcing graphic element that could be used in a variety of public forums. It needed to be easily transportable and simple to set up. An essential criterion was to portray elementary and secondary students wearing uniforms.
Solution
In light of September 11th, I decided to use the American flag as a background. Especially because Yonkers is adjacent to NYC, this was a clear way for the district to pay tribute to all those whose lives were lost. Vertical banner displays were chosen because of their ease of use and transportability. Six displays were made, and are currently being used thoughout the district for city, state and nationwide events.
